Apple vs Samsung
In this blog post, we shall be comparing the two top flagship smartphones in the world, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G and the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max.
1. The iPhone 13 Pro Max was announced on September 14 2021 and subsequently released 10 days later while the Galaxy S22 was announced on February 9 2022 with a planned released date of February 25.
2. Both phones supports the following mobile telecommunications technologies: GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, LTE and 5G.
3. The S 22 Ultra is built with Gorilla Glass Victus+ in front and back and an aluminum frame while the 13 Pro Max is built with Gorilla Glass front and back and a stainless steel frame.
4. The display size of the S 22 Ultra is 6.8 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels while the 13 Pro Max is 6.7 inches with a resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels.
5. Both smartphones have no memory card slots, no radios and infrared ports.
6. The S 22 Ultra is equipped with an Octa-core (1x2.8 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3x2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A510) while the 13 Pro Max ships with a Hexa-core (2x3.22 GHz Avalanche + 4xX.X GHz Blizzard).
7. The S 22 Ultra has memory ranges of 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM, 1TB 12GB RAM while the 13 Pro Max has memory ranges of 128GB 6GB RAM, 256GB 6GB RAM, 512GB 6GB RAM, 1TB 6GB RAM.
8. The battery of the S 22 Ultra is a 5ooomAh Lithium ion battery whereas the 13 Pro Max is equipped with a 4352mAh Lithium ion battery.
9. The main camera of the S 22 Ultra is a 108 Mega Pixel resolution whereas the 13 Pro Max is 12 Mega Pixel resolution.
10. The S 22 Ultra weighs only 229 grams and is 8.9 mm thick while the 13 Pro Max is 240 grams in weight and only 7.7 mm thick.
